Tantalizingly tasty with exquisite sweetness!
There are thousands of varieties of grapes grown throughout the world. The Kyoho variety is a successful cross between Campbell and Centennial grapes. An original Japanese table grape, this grape's name, Kyoho (pronounced Kee-Oh-Ho), means "great or big mountain (巨 峰)" because of its generous size. Highly regarded as the "King of Grapes", it is a highly favoured grape in Japan and Korea.
The grapes are grown in Ansung county, Gyeonggi-Do prefecture of Korea. The rich, fertile soil and mild climate with intensive sunshine of Ansung country make it suitable for producing superior quality grapes. The grapes are cultivated using highly innovative cultivation techniques in compliance with Good Agricultural Practice.
Tantalizingly tasty, Ansung Kyoho grapes are big, dark purple, almost jet black, thick-skinned and eye-catching grapes with an exquisite sweetness. Containing high sugar content above 16 brix, this grape's moderate acidity makes a perfect flavour balance. Ansung Kyoho grapes have loose skin or slip-skin that easily slips from the fruit when cut or bitten. The skin and seeds are bitter but the thick meaty pulp inside is deliciously sweet and very juicy.
Ansung Kyoho grapes are available only once a year from early September to late October.
Superior quality, nutritious mushrooms fortified with health-promoting saponins!
Mushrooms are fungi. They are low in calories, have no cholesterol and are virtually free of fat and sodium. Mushrooms stand alone when it comes to some of the essential minerals and B-complex vitamins not easily found in produce. In addition, some contain substances that might prove to be useful in the treatment and prevention of serious diseases.
Ginseng contains saponins. Saponins are a category of naturally occurring nutrients found abundantly in many beans and other plants such as ginseng and aloe vera. Clinical studies have suggested that saponins affect the immune system in lowering cancer risk and decreasing cholesterol levels.
Ginseng mushrooms are grown through advanced cultivation technology that fortifies mushrooms with ginseng. Ginseng mushrooms are free from pesticides and cultivated under zero germ conditions with a controlled environment of temperature, moisture and clean air to support disease-free culture. Ground water from deep rock wells is used as a growing medium for the mushrooms to ensure germ-free cultivation.
Ginseng mushrooms retain the superior flavour and nutrition of quality mushrooms with the added effects of saponins!
